Youth development is such a key asset to big clubs and enables teams to find and train future stars and Chelsea may of hit the jackpot this season after promoting 3 potential starts from their under 23s side! This 3 may one day form the 3 prong attack for Chelsea and it could be one of the worlds best!
First up in Jeremine Boga, the ivory coast international plays an attacking midfield role and usually lines up on the left. Boga has been with the blues since 2014 when he was in the under 18s Chelsea side. After loan deals to both Stade Resnais and Granada FC he has now been called up to the Mens Chelsea side where he has made a single appearance as a substitute. His combination of pace and dribbling technique makes him a handful for many defenders and could cause to be a big threat in front of goal this season if given the chance by Conte
Charly Musonda Jr.
This Belgium left winger has been linked with the blues since 2012 where he moved from RSCA Youth to Chelsea Under 18’s for a fee of £2 million. He has grown in maturity through a loan deal to Spanish side Real Betis where he was only able to make 8 appearances. If given the nod Musonda will grow as a player and could one day be one of the leagues finest players.
Perhaps the player with the most game experience in this list is Tammy Abraham. The English striker is currently away on loan at Swansea after finishing his time with Bristol City in May 2017. He has scored a total of 23 career goals in just 42 league appearances, which is impressive for a player of his age.
